Cadavedo to Navia

A 40km day - long but beautiful. I walked alone for most of the day, but spent the last two hours walking with Kate from Poland. She plans on spending some time at the beach here, so I won’t be seeing her tomorrow - yet I know I will see her eventually in the next few days, if only over a coffee in a bar somewhere.

Viktor is at the same albergue as me tonight, and I’m so happy to see him! He and several others contracted some sort of virus in Peón - not sure how I was able to avoid it, but it slowed him down quite a bit.

Today was a day of farmlands with the ocean always in sight. There were relatively few hills, and I’m happy with my distance - 40km! It’s very apparent that I’ve been walking for over a month - I was ready for the day to end, but I felt strong. How I will feel tomorrow though, is anyone’s guess!
